With over 40 years of experience, Valley Pallet & Crating prides itself on providing top quality products, ranging from standard to specialty shipping pallets to crates of all shapes and sizes.
We accommodate our customers' shipping needs and offer local or regional delivery options. We are IPPC & ISPM-15 Certified, to conform to export shipping requirements.
SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting mill operations through delivery and or of finished goods or raw materials.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transport finished products to and from destinations
- To deliver what has been pulled and picked through from purchase orders
- Arrive at destination on schedule
- Must ensure the right load of product is loaded and unloaded
- Complete all paperwork needed for delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
- Must always interact with clients professionally
- Inspect vehicle before each deliver to ensure any mechanical errors
- Adhere to driver safety rules and regulations
- Must work overtime as required
- Assist with mill operation or production when not performing driver duties
- All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to follow oral and written instructions
- Previous driving experience
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Previous driving experience Manual and Automatic transmission vehicle
- Must have valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
